Lanier Stinger 10
The following pictures are of a Stinger 10 built for the late Lynn Sipes of Bolivar, TN. The Stinger was shipped to Lynn about 2 weeks prior to his untimely death and I don’t think he even had a chance to get her into the air. The Stinger is similar to the 1/2A SST in that it has a built up fuselage and a foam core partially sheeted wing. There are a few construction pictures of the Stinger and several views of the finished product covered in Econocote. Lynn had requested a patriotic theme in the covering but he wasn’t crazy about the stars and stripes that I originally placed on the tail feathers.
